This statement reflects how Purple Aware Technologies designs and maintains this website — and what to do if you hit a barrier.

Our commitment
We are a disability-first company, so we hold this site to the standard we hold our clients' products to. This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we work toward the requirements of the ADA, the EU Accessibility Act 2025, India's RPwD Act 2016, and Section 508.
What we've built in
- Keyboard-first: every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a single, highly visible focus indicator.
- Readable by default: Atkinson Hyperlegible body type, a comfortable 17px base, 1.65 line height, and a 44px minimum touch target.
- Colour & contrast: text and interface colours are paired to meet AA contrast in both light and dark themes.
- Reader controls: a built-in accessibility panel lets you switch theme, scale text, enable high contrast or a more legible font, underline links, pause animation, and turn on a reading guide. Your choices are saved on your device.
- Reduced motion: we honour your operating system's "reduce motion" setting and provide a manual toggle; all animation has a sensible static end state.
- Structure & semantics: landmark regions, a skip link, meaningful headings, descriptive link text, and alt text on meaningful images.
How we test
We combine automated checks with manual testing using real assistive technology — including screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, and zoom/magnification — alongside review by people with lived experience of disability.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work. If you find something that doesn't meet the bar above, it's a bug to us — please tell us and we'll prioritise a fix.
A note on overlays
We build accessibility into the page itself rather than relying on an automatic "overlay" to patch it afterwards. Overlays are not endorsed by the W3C and cannot make an inaccessible site compliant. The controls we offer give you genuine, standards-friendly adjustments without that trade-off.
